Changing from Servite to Viridian

Servite was founded in 1945 in west London. Although our initial objective was to provide housing for elderly and disabled people, it has grown rapidly and has now built up a diverse property portfolio from the Midlands to West Sussex. We have more than 16,000 homes across the country.

We have very consciously transformed over the last two years with a new business focus, a new vision (Quality homes for you to make the most of your life) and a new culture.

This transformation reaches all corners of our organisation while holding on to our old reputation for our caring principles.

We felt that as part of this transformation it was a good time and opportunity to change our public face and use the change of identity to continue the journey.

The new name and identity has been carefully and purposefully designed to reflect the aspirations of our people and our residents.

We will deliver this vision whilst still taking all the good things with us from our history (all teams, cultures, locations, activities and previous organisations)
