Dean Epton, our Deputy Chief Executive, has just fed back to us on an event he attended on digital inclusion run by BT. He came back with so many powerful and thought provoking facts that I thought I’d share some of them with you here. I’m now more convinced than ever that, with broadband penetration set to peak at 80% by 2016, ‘digital inclusion’ is going to be a big contributor not only to achieving social impact for our residents but also to increasing the efficiency of our services – which in turn will free up funds to put into more social impact services.

I have just spent an excellent couple of hours with Melissa Gent who runs our housing team in North London responsible for 'Closer to You'.

We have just got this year’s results from Stonewall, who do an annual survey to identify Britain’s most gay-friendly employers. We have moved up by 54 places which is a big deal and wonderful news. How have we done that?
