1. Does Viridian provide supported housing?
Yes, the support team provides assistance to hundreds of people across London, the south of England and the Midlands. It may be scheme based or be floating support where we provide you with assistance in your own home.
2. What support does Viridian provide?
We provide a wide range of support and some of the many groups we work with include:
- older people
- people with mental health issues
- people with learning difficulties
- people with physical impairments
- young people
- deaf people
Our service is funded by local government “Supporting People” teams. Unfortunately, if we are not funded to provide support in your local area we will not be able to provide you with the service, but we will be able to refer you to other organisations who may be able to help.
3. Who can I contact to get support for myself or a friend/relative?
If you would like to get support for a friend or relative please contact the supported housing team on 0330 123 0220, you can also contact the support team via minicom on: 0330 123 0221.
4. What is floating support?
This is support that we provide to people living independently in their own accommodation. Many of the people receiving this service are adults with long-standing mental health difficulties or those who have a disability which makes them vulnerable and in need of support. The support and community care team provide floating support to people with a range of support needs, including people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, sickle cell and thasallemia, physical disabilities.

5. Does Viridian provide care services?
