Viridian is a registered social landlord with approximately 18,000 properties disbursed around the West Midlands, East Midlands, London and the South East.

Our operating costs (including staff costs) during 2008/9 were £97.7m.

Our expectations

The key qualities we expect from our suppliers are:

• Value for money products and services that, as a minimum, meet the our specification
• A commitment to working with us to maximise your performance and the customer satisfaction of our framework agreements/contracts
• Demonstrably sound financial standing
• Socially responsible with an ongoing programme to improve your Company’s environmental and sustainability performance with a commitment for product innovation
• To have, or at least be working towards, a policy promoting ethnicity and diversity

Small, medium and large organisations, able to meet our requirements across all or part of our geographical spread of properties are potentially eligible to become suppliers, providing they are able to meet the above requirements.

How to become a supplier

When existing framework agreements/contracts are to be re-tendered or new products or services are identified, we will publish the requirements on our upcoming supply opportunities section and, if the value of our procurements necessitates compliance against the EU Procurement Directives, then we will also publish our requirements within the official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
