How to rent from us

To rent a home from us the first thing you should do is contact your local council. About one in two of our homes are let to people who are nominated to us by their local council. You can find your local council details through Directgov - Local Councils.

If you are referred to us we will let you know about homes we have available that suit your needs. One of our housing officers will talk to you and help you complete an application form before an offer can be made.

Rent increases

Our annual rent increases are calculated using a formula provided to us by the Tenant Services Authority. This sets out the maximum allowable rent increase, and also the increase in the target rent.

As a Registered Social Landlord there is a maximum chargeable rent we are allowed to charge for each of our properties. The target rent is based on a number of factors including, location, number of bedrooms and the property value in January 1999.
