We provide support for people with a variety of needs including people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, Sickle Cell and Thasallemia, physical disabilities, generic services for people who may have various support needs and for deaf people requiring additional support. The mental health and disabilities team provide this support via floating and scheme-based schemes.
Floating support
This is support that we provide to people living independently in their own accommodation, with many of the people receiving this service being adults with long-standing mental health difficulties or those who have a disability which makes them vulnerable and in need of support. The groups of people we support fall into the following categories:
- Mental health issues
- Deaf adults with mental health needs
- Learning difficulties
- Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia
- Generic needs

Accommodation-based support
This support is accommodation-based where housing in provided by Viridian as part of the scheme. The groups we provide accommodation-based support to are as follows:
- Learning disabilities (including 1 Care Home, Newstead House)
- Deaf services (including 3 specialist Care Home)

- Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia
- Mental health service

Specialist Care Homes
We run three fully-staffed specialist care homes for deaf adults with mental health issues in Wandsworth offering 24 hour support. These schemes are Huguenot Place, Harding House and Anthony Edwards House. We also operate Newstead House, a 34-bedded Care Home for adults who have learning disabilities and other issues in Harold Wood, Romford. All four Care Homes are registered with CQC.
