National resident forum

The national residents forum (NRF) is a group of Viridian residents responsible for overseeing and monitoring resident involvement in all our regions. The forum meets at least four times a year to look at how well Viridian has consulted with residents and how well the association is performing.

The forum is made up of residents from general housing, assisted living and supported housing, from all the regions.

Forum activities

As well as monitoring performance, the NRF are responsible for managing the Resident Service Inspectors programme and for agreeing Viridian Resident Involvement Annual Statement of Intent.

The Annual Statement of Intent sets out the actions we will take during the next year to maintain and improve the way we involve residents, and has been agreed with the NRF. It also explains how we have met the actions we said we were going to carry out last year. Download a copy of the Resident Involvement Annual Statement of Intent.

Key actions for this year are:

• Produce a national residents forum annual report
• Resident Service Inspectors to carry out four inspections of key services and publish the results on the website
• Launch the 'Listening to You campaign' to find out residents' priorities for Viridian
• Set up scrutiny panels for each region to make sure Viridian is accountable for our services
