Resident service inspectors

The Resident Service Inspector (RSI) scheme was launched in March 2009. Resident RSIs inspect, monitor and review the quality of the services that Viridian provides. They also make recommendations for improvements to the organisation and to the National Residents Forum. RSIs carry out a selection of ‘hands-on’ tasks including:

Mystery shopping – examples of mystery shopping include ringing Viridian offices as a regular customer, visiting Viridian offices for face to face services -- and then providing feedback about the experiences

Quality checks – testing the quality of some publications and documents including letters to tenants, website content, newsletters and leaflets, and

Inspections – where a group of residents (2 or more) carry out visits to estates, properties or offices. Inspections can also include looking at the quality of works done on void (empty) properties, repair works, estate services and talking to other residents face to face about their satisfaction with any contact that they have had with the organisation.
